Sekuriteits-bewustheid vir ons eie kruis kulturele en onbereikte werkers

Ek moes sopas hierdie blog skoonmaak van ons Taaiboer se naam in die sites waar dit opgekom het in ons google search ivm met sy geboorte naam en die mense groep waarmee hy tans werk.  Ek het die ander blogs wat ons cravan volg, en dus wat ons almal link, afgehaal.

Die afgelope maande is daar verskeie kere al gepraat oor 'onder die radar'-bewustheid  en nou is dit hier vir ons...

Die kodering van sekere sleutelwoorde is nie meer net praat nie, dis nou die manier hoe dinge gedoen gaan word voorentoe.  Al voel ons nie die dringendheid hier in sonnige SA nie, vir die wat daar anderkant is, kom die onsigbare mure al nader en nader. Die harde realiteit is dat lande toe is vir hierdie Blye Boodskap omdat dit eintlik maar die Gevorseerde Boodksap geword het, plus ander faktore...

En as 'n ou se naam gemerk is, is die visas toe...

Die elektroniese kommuikasie is die gouste/maklikste manier om inligting te versprei/op te spoor, so ons vra dat hierdie bewustheid nie ligtelike opgeneem word nie (veral nie omdat dit nie jou realiteit is nie) maar dat ons almal van nou af kodeering gebruik waar van toepassing. Kry klaarheid by jou oes-werker.

Missionologie het dit klaar gedokumenteer... en vir die wat die oe wil he om dit te sien...

Dit lyk deesdae asof die Koningkryks-gaping tussen evangelisasie en sending al hoe groter word, met rede....

The Persecuted Church, presented by Ansie Swanepoel, Wycliffe Research Assistant (Sat 3 Nov)

Biblically, persecution is normal.

Persecution isn’t good or bad. It just is. Persecution is a by-product of coming to know Jesus.

Jesus said Go. Not wait until I call you. We have already been called. It is in the Bible for all those who can read, to read and believe and act on.

In an African country on the horn of Africa, people are killed for having a Bible.  It is hard to hide a bible and possessing a bible causes them to be caught.  Orality: God keeps the word in oral form in order to rapidly transmit truth.  (God keeps the word in literate form to preserve truth.)  Where a church is dying is where it has the fewest oral tools.

83% of the unreached cannot read and write....

Knowing God shouldn’t depend on literacy but on the Holy Spirit.

Orality changes the way we do ministry = it requires a personal relationship with the unreached and then telling them God’s stories. Jesus taught us so well by his own example.

Thus, God’s plan to have every knee bow to Him will prevail, regardless if we live or die.

Dying for God’s purposes and not turning away from persecution, sends out a much stronger and convincing message to unbelievers than living an unchallenged life, even though it might be for Him.

Persecution is Satan’s response to people coming to Christ.  How do we know when to leave Joseph in jail?  If we got him out of jail early he couldn’t interpret Pharaoh’s dream and the whole of Israel would die… There for, if expat workers and local believers are obedient to their calling and are a faithful witnesses, they will cause persecution, suffering and eventually face martyrdom. It just is so.

“Thank you that I am free to worship” VS “Thank you that I am free to witness”

1 Pet 4:19 So then, those who suffer according to God’s will, should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Hierdie was Kobus & Hanneke se jaarlikse uitnodiging aan KE, om skouer aan die wiel te kom sit op die plaas, ten bate van die wees-kinders wat plaas toe gaan vir kampe ens.

Woensdag 17 Oktober
Riana & Jan Grobbelaar se Lewende Woord Oos homecell in Garsfontein. Dit het begin deur God wat 'n klompie Bulgarye toe gevat het in Mei saam met KE. Dis ook Bertus se ondersteunings-groep terwyl hy in Thailand is vir sy volgende seisoen.

Woensdagaand 19 Sept - ons stuur vir Bertus uit met 'n waarskuwing:

Die mooiste jong mense van Icon! Die getuienis was dat die Here met hierdie groepie al begin praat het oor 'n toekoms in Hom, wat vra dat hule eie drome en geld-maak moontlikhede eers opsy gesit word sodat die Koningkryk eers deur hul lewens kan vestig, waarookal Hy hulle heen sou stuur na hulle gekwalifiseer het....

die laaste 2 weeks...

Danie & Esher van Niekerk vertel by die Fellowship van die scenic route waarop God hulle nou eers neem, al was hulle sterk oppad Macedonia toe. En so word Thabazimbi GROTER op die kaart vir kinder-bediening: naweek kampe vir weeskinders by Kobus & Hanneke se plaas asook kinders met autisme waarby D&E nou betrokke gaan raak.

Indien jy sou wou plaas toe vir 'n bietjie skouer-aan-die-wiel, die komende naweek 19 - 21 Okt, bel gerus vir Hanneke vir reelings asb.
Flip se stuursel vergadering by die Brooklyn Gastehuis (a picture tells a thousand words....)

MCC (Mission Coordinating Centre) het ontmoet op 9 Okt om die struktuur verder in plek te sit. Baie lekker om weer saam met Clem en Alwyn te journey!

Bertus Martitz het Thailand toe vertrek 4 Okt, om sy TEFSOL English kurses te begin vir dievolgende 3 maande.  Volg gerus sy blog!

Remunerated Employment VS Volunteering

This is a BIG one for our discipleship process to mature sons & daughters.... 

Today, does God want of you to volunteer to work in/for His Kingdom or does He recruit you based on a remuneration employment system?

Romans 6:16 -18
¹⁶Don’t you realize that you can choose your own master? ... The one to whom you offer yourself—he will take you and be your master, and you will be his slave. ... ¹⁸And now you are free from your old master, sin; and you have become slaves to your new master, righteousness.


The Cambridge Dictionaries Online defines Volunteering as:
"to offer to do something that you do not have to do, often without having been asked to do it and/or without expecting payment" / "to give information without being asked"

Remunerated

1. To pay (a person) a suitable equivalent in return for goods provided, services rendered, or losses incurred; recompense.

2. To compensate for; make payment for: remunerated his efforts.

Employment

1. a. The act of employing. b. The state of being employed.

2. The work in which one is engaged; occupation.

3. An activity to which one devotes time.

 

We know we have been bought for a price and no longer belong to ourselves but to Him who settled our debt.  What do you think God wants in return from this covenant He extends to you?

 

Jesus gave us an indication when He qualified our giving/volunteering by our heart's attitude...

 

Hebrews 6:9 - 12

9 My friends, we are talking this way. But we are sure that you are doing those really good things that people do when they are being saved. ¹⁰ God is always fair. He will remember how you helped his people in the past and how you are still helping them. You belong to God, and he won’t forget the love you have shown his people. ¹¹ We wish that each of you would always be eager to show how strong and lasting your hope really is. ¹² Then you would never be lazy. You would be following the example of those who had faith and were patient until God kept his promise to them.

So then, what is at the heart of this great truth?

Sat 29 Sep - Fellowship by die Brooklyn Gastehuis

A very different but necessary time together.

The fellowship had a deep result because people present participated by bringing of themselves to the community's table ... the rest God did....

A paradigm shift is something you do
(after hearing, believing and responding to a new pattern / reality....)
I suppose a bit like faith & works...

PLAN puts whole body PURPOSE in place...

That's why the Kingdom journey is not about you ... even though it starts with you at first

Then we will be mature, just as Christ is, and we will be completely like him.

Kingdom Encounters in SA is besig om aan 'n baie interessante projek te begin werk en Saterdag was die begin van beginne.  Op die stadium was die lede van die KE Board die verteenwoordigende partye maar daar is reeds ander wat ons nog graag aanboord sou wou sien kom.

Toe het JP & Rita Maandag vertrek Bulgarye toe tot en met Novemeber, wat JP betyds sal terug besorg vir 'n paar Starting Points en die daaropvolgende P2P module Turning Point 29 Nov - 2 Des.  Kyk gerus uit vir Starting Point datums in Oktober en vroeg Nov!

En raai wat het JP in sy tas?...... 'n gas geyser natuurlik!

Met die dat ons JP hulle afgesien het, loop ons toevallig vir Jeff en Marlene Whindus raak, wat ou KE Friends is!

Sat 15 Sept - Sending Naweek

Eden Gemeente - Bronkhorstspruit
Philip van Wyk se stuursel het sy uitstal-tafel om die beurt beman maar ongelukkig was die 'sending' naweek eerder 'n evangeliesasie naweek. Agrimin/Amos se fokus was om die boere te bearbei oor hoe om die evangelie tasbaar, doenbaar, leefbaar te maak teenoor die plaaswerkers op hule eie plase hier in SA.

Is dit regtig belangrik om die verskil tussen sending en evangelisasie te kan onderskei?

As jy so dink nie, nooi ons jou graag uit na dievolgende Passage 2 Purpose kurses in Nov/Des! 

Sat1 & Son 2 September

Sondagmiddag 2 - 5nm, Elspeth Liebenberg van Campus Crusade
Danie het gereel dat Elspeth met ons praat oor Member Care en die realiteite op die veld wat sendelinge deur moet sien en hoe stuursellede aktief kan help met verkeie aspekte tydens hul dienstydperk op die veld asook wanneer hulle huis toe kom.

Saterdagaand 5 - 9nm - Philip van Wyk Spesiale Nood projek terugvoer by KE Pretoria Fellowship
Op Sat 23 Junie was daar by KE Pta Fellowship 'n uitnodiging om deel te neem aand die geleentheid, en hierdie Saterdag was die formele terugvoer. Dit was die 3de formele teruvoer aan vriende, vennote en kerke.

Saterdagoggend 11 - 5nm, Danie & Esther Stuursel vergadering
Die hoof doel van 'n stuurspan is om die sendeling te help en dus is die groep doel en taak gerig.  Die hele span is verantwoordelik om die bestaande take op die tafel uit gevoer te kry.  Dit was 'n goeie toets-lopie om te sien of die individue hul prioriteite daarvolgens stel om Danie & Esther te help met hul voorbereidings in die volgende paar maande.

(terloops, dit is die mees afgelaaide program in die wereld huidiglik)

Sat 25 Aug - BULGARYE Terugvoer!

KE Bulgarye is 'n nuwe vertaking wat in 2011 gestalte gekry het toe Kobus & Hanneke en JP & Rita tydens 'n recce in September 'n huis gekoop het in die dorp Gostilitsia, min of meer sentraal Bulgarye. Hierdie visie is al 'n paar jaar gelede deur JP ontvang en het die tyd-toets met lof geslaag as daar na die magdom sending-vrugte gekyk word in soveel mense se lewens.... 

Die eerste werks-groep het toe in Mei oorgegaan, waarvan die meerderheid spanlede vanuit Lewende Woord Oos gemeente bestaan het - interessant ne!

(Jammer Sipho, of  eerder Wouter, asook Bertus kon dit nie maak nie)

Kobus & Hanneke het die skyfie vertoning gelei waartydens die spanlede elk 'n beurt gekry het om hul eie belewenis te kon deel.  Die van Tonder gesin het 'n volle 3 maande in Bulgarye spandeer en vir almal vertel van hul besonderse journey nadat JP, Jordan en Rita, asook die werksgroep terug huis toe vertrek het. Die plan en doel van sending in sy volheid!

Bulgaarse visas reguleer 'n maksimum van 3 maande besoeke tydens die somer seisoen.... ongelukkig is die huis nog nie leefbaar om die Oos-Europese winters te oorleef nie...

Wie gaan saam volgende jaar???!

Doting parents and their beautiful babies as well as a marvelous spread!

 

Jared & Sanchia give a slide presentation of their YWM DTS in Chennai at the beginning of 2012 and invited people attending to partner with them

They have been invited to attend Slingshot in Nov at the Muizenberg YWM base and then attend as staff the 2013 school at the same base

In the meantime they are ministering in East London, taking turns with Elijah that has his parent's full attention... Bless you guys, you are doing an excellent job with your new boy!
