Jacques had his birthday, Mike & Kim are back from their cross cultural Mauritius honeymoon, Jeroen was wondering about voluntary/involuntary going, Ansie is busy with research and took some American Wycliffers to Pilansburg, Juanita has started a Counselling as well as a part time bible school course, Leone is full time at bible school, Jana is growing her baby, Mark is focused on yet another tax deadline, Estelle is unlearning stuff and found "The Purpose of the Wilderness", and Paulien is busy with a fabric painting course for Friends/Arts for Life.
JP was visiting and we will most probably only see him & Rita again after their Bulgaria trip somewhere in June/July. He is currently presenting World Perspectives at the bible school and running Starting Points among a myriad of other activities. Jared & Sanchia is doing DTS in Chennai India and Alison has left for the UK.
The topic is 'so what's next?' After 'Catch the vision' (motivation), we have all stepped into 'Keeping the Vision' (integration ie. the next steps), and hopefully we will grow towards 'Obey the vision' (specialisation) once we successfully slot into our Kingdom callings.Missions is the alignment catalyst towards our callings
God measures in growth
What do you think "The Vision" mentioned is?
To make "centrality of missions" meaningful in your life, means that your life priorities will be re-organised
Perspectives/P2P is NOT a new way of doing evangelism...
Future cultural exposure trips: Bulgaria will most probably happen towards the end of April/beginning May. Sept/Oct could see us go to south-China...and perhaps independant trips to Thailand & Malaysia.... keep your finger on the pulse
