Sat 5 May - Partnerships

Take a guess what is the most pressing question: how do you ask people for money?
Just as salvation is a very important entry step into the Kingdom, and working and helping establish the Kingdom is the journey, so are partnerships and approaching people to help you with .... what was that again?

When believers realise that everything they work and pay for, save, establish and gain, make and own as well as inherited, is God's provision foremost to extend His Kingdom (and in that their own needs are taken care of) then asking won't be an issue at all.  Jesus put it something like when you seek the Kingdom of God first, then all other things will be added to you

When believers realise that the Kingdom is much bigger than their local church and that God has a calling for each one in His global vision, then inviting people to take up their part of the Kingdom yoke would be eagerly met by mature believers who are interested in having a diverse cultural investment portfolio
When believers start to ask the right questions about the quality of the soil they are about to invest their God given seed in, and take responsibility themselves for their own investment, then multiple Kingdom projects should be bearing much mature spiritual fruit locally as well as abroad

The plan is the money to do the work, but what is the purpose of being sent and inviting people to be part of your journey?  Why do we want to/have to bother others with what we are doing?

For God so loved the world He wanted everything redeemed back to Himself, even South African Christianity

Sat 28 April - Loong weekend in SA

Bulgaria - a cross cultural, unreached entry strategy in the making.....

Establishing foundations
When last have you been part of starting something brand-new in establishing the Kingdom of God?
Are you aware of the spiritual condition of south-east Europe?
Do you recognise that the missionaries alone can not fulfill the Great Commission by themselves?
So then, what is your part in co-partnering with God to redeem everything back to Him?

1 Corinthians 3
11For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

2 Timothy 2
19Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." 20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

Sat 21 April - GANDHI

We have changed much since the release of Gandhi with Ben Kingsly. So watching the dvd was amazing, riveting, disturbing and so descriptive of India today...

Wisdom by Gandhiji
  • "Be the change you want to see in the world.”
  • "Whenever you are confronted with an opponent. Conquer him with love.”
  • "There is nothing that wastes the body like worry, and one who has any faith in God should be ashamed to worry about anything whatsoever”
  • “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”
  • “Whenever you have truth it must be given with love, or the message and the messenger will be rejected”
  • Yes I am, I am also a Muslim, a Christian, a Buddhist, and a Jew. When asked if he was a Hindu.
  • It is my firm opinion that Europe does not represent the spirit of God or Christianity but the spirit of Satan. And Satan’s successes are the greatest when he appears with the name of God on his lips.
  • I consider western Christianity in its practical working a negation of Christ’s Christianity.
  • If Christians would really live according to the teachings of Christ, as found in the Bible, all of India would be Christian today.
  • Prayer is not asking. It is a longing of the soul. It is daily admission of one's weakness. It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.
  • Where there is love there is life.

Sending Cells camping weekend @ Koro-Koro

Friday 13 - Sunday 15 April 2012

Beautiful weather and bosveld bush, sitting by the fire and seeing a zillion stars, smelling nature and woken by bird song...... then smelling the Brazilian coffee and freshly baked bread.... - ooops, the bread is not in this picture, but the rest was for real man!!

On Saturday (which was another perfect African day) the day visitors started to arrive for prayer time, followed by a hearty breakfast with toast and all. Everybody got together for a group session.  Kim spoke about the Kingdom yoke and the unfinished task followed by Mike who spoke about middle coordinating and KE's role.  Juanita chose the topic of your OUTPUT is determined by your input and prayer.

Estelle read feedback letters from the sharp-end/front line Apostolic Initiatives: JP, Philip van Wyk, Deon Scholtz, Maryna Vos, Ken & Corine Brown and Hilke.  Their responses emphasized and confirmed the role of middle coordinators strongly again and the dire need for Kingdom volunteers.

After lunch we had sending cell meetings:

Sanchia arrived on Thursday night from Chennai India to join us for her and Jared's cell meeting

Danie & Esther's sending cell

Ansie's support group

After a really solid day's work, we could sit by the fire again.... listening to the jackal's cries and a slight night breeze..... Out comes the water bottle, feather duvets, beanies, Kenyan blankets and woolly socks!
Sunday morning and the birds are alive!

When all is said and done, the glory remains His

Pesach 2012

"When I come back to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. The one who obeys me is the one who loves me; and because he loves me, my Father will love him; and I will too, and I will reveal myself to him." John 14:20, 21
